Banana Smoothie: a healthy drink without gluten, sugars, or dairy
The banana is one of the most loved fruits in general, both for its sweet and pleasant taste and for its texture, which makes it perfect for preparing smoothies, smoothies, creams, and ice creams. The Banana Smoothie I suggest today is the ideal snack for both adults and children. Furthermore, it is a recipe that can easily be included in special diets, such as those for people intolerant to gluten or those following the low-FODMAP protocol for managing irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Personally, I love smoothies, I often recommend them to my patients, and I drink them myself, especially when I need a boost during busy days.
The Banana
The banana is a fruit that contains several interesting ingredients from a nutritional standpoint, although it belongs to the category of calorie-dense fruits, so it should be consumed in moderation in weight loss diets. It is rich in potassium, a mineral that has beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system and helps maintain stable blood pressure levels. It also contains B vitamins, along with PP and B6 vitamins, which have a positive impact on the endocrine system. It is no coincidence that it is the favorite fruit of athletes for a post-workout snack: it replenishes energy and optimizes the beneficial effects of exercise at the cardiac, muscular, and hormonal levels.
